Nate has been working as a financial advisor since 2012 and attained his CFP designation in 2014. He is a proud graduate of Ohio University, where he studied broadcast Journalism with a desire to pursue a career in sports broadcasting. Nate began his career working for local TV stations nationwide, before transitioning to financial planning in his brother's Cleveland-area office. He and his family relocated to Columbus in 2015, and Nate partnered with the financial advisory office that has now become NDF Financial Advisors.
Nate comes from a family deeply rooted in the financial industry. His grandfather began with IDS in the 1960s and his father joined the business as well, working as a financial advisor for over 40 years and still going strong today. His brother and aunt also have extensive careers as advisors. Nate observed the profound gratification they derived from helping people pursue financial goals, a sentiment he now shares. He values the deep relationships formed with clients, as he helps them implement financial strategies that aim to improve their lives.
Outside of work, Nate enjoys time with his wife, Tess, and their son, Sawyer. His hobbies include golf, basketball, running, boating, fishing, various outdoor activities, football, and travel, all complemented by his appreciation for good food.
